Work Hard. Play Hard.  A section of the Jake David mission statement.  It’s the way of life for “people around these parts”.  We work hard, and we play hard.

This idea came to us last fall when a male customer approached me about having some work tees with pockets made for his everyday use.  When I asked him what words or images he wanted on it, he said, “Well my buddy Steve (Jake’s boss) always said he was one hell of a worker.”  Thus, the Word Hard, Play Hard was created.

A couple months later, my dad came in and asked if I had any crewneck sweatshirts in the Jake line.  We did not.  He said he just needed something for a work sweatshirt.  I told him he didn’t work anymore.  Haha!  He’s retired.  He didn’t find it as funny as I did.  I decided on this statement for his “work” crewneck sweatshirt, which turned out pretty cool.

This tee is intended for work, play, or both, and because it’s more of an everyday work tee, it’s just $15.00 because you might need more than one for the week.  This isn’t the ultra soft tee like the main Jake David ones; this one is built a bit thicker and not quite as soft because it’s meant to feel a little tougher for rougher wear.  You can get this one dirty and not cry over some grease stains.
